My name is Rani.
I am a woman in my late 20s living in Indonesia. I speak Indonesian (of course) and English.
Currently, I work as a freelancer & just try to navigating my life in this economy.
I’ve been blogging since I was young, but I stopped in high school during the social media boom. Lately, I’ve grown exhausted of the current state of social media, so I decided to start blogging again just like in the good ol’ days. I’ve always been interested in writing and even wanted to work in that field, so this feels like a great chance to hone my skills!
My interests
I am just a nerd who loves anime, manga, video games, books, and movies. Especially I have a particular passion for Japanese subcultures, media, and pop culture.
I also enjoy reading books! especially nonfiction.
I enjoy JRPGs, Nintendo games, indie games, strategy games, and any role-playing games! Some of my favorites include XCOM, Fire Emblem, Tactics Ogre, Triangle Strategy, Civilization, Stardew Valley, Pokémon, and SIGNALIS.
More importantly I love foods, and cat!
I also have an interest in tarot & astrology.
Overall, I have a wide range of interests, and it’s hard to sum them up in just a few words.
What to expect
Most of the posts on this site consists of articles I have written, primarily about review, personal thought, and talking about my interests.
Sometimes, I may discuss projects or work I have been involved in.
I think that sums up everything, as I don’t want to make this too long, hehe.
Anyway, I’m not active on social media anymore. I mostly blog, like in the 2000s, and I also keep a personal journal where I mostly post in Indonesian language & a bit rambling there.
